We are pleased to welcome our next guest in the Bishop Vincent Presents series: Archbishop Ryan Jimenez, Archbishop of Agaña in Guam and President of the Episcopal Conference of the Pacific.

Join us for an evening with Archbishop Jimenez as he reflects on the theme “An Immigrant Bishop for an Immigrant Church.”

Born in the Philippines, Archbishop Jimenez later moved to Guam as a young man, where he has served the Church for many years and now leads the Archdiocese of Agana. He is currently the President of the Episcopal Conference of the Pacific – the largest episcopal conference in the world by geographic area – spanning a vast region from Guam in the western Pacific to Tahiti in the southeast. He also serves as Vice President of the Federation of Catholic Bishops Conferences of Oceania.

Archbishop Jimenez has been a strong advocate for the peoples of the Pacific, often highlighting the realities faced by island communities, including migration, inequality and the growing impact of climate change. In 2025, during a private audience with Pope Leo in Rome, he spoke about the devastating effects of rising sea levels on many Pacific nations and the displacement of communities forced to seek new homes abroad.

Archbishop Jimenez will be visiting Sydney and Melbourne.
