Find A School

Catholic schools educate around one in four students in Western Sydney and the Blue Mountains today.

In the Diocese of Parramatta, over 43,000 students attend our 58 primary schools, 22 secondary schools and two trade and inquiry pathway campuses. Thousands of young people also access our Early Learning and Out of School Hours and Vacation Care services.

Why choose a Catholic education for your children?

Sending children to a Catholic school offers a multitude of benefits that extend beyond academic education. Catholic schools provide a holistic approach to education, nurturing each student’s mind, body, and spirit. The Gospel messages of love, forgiveness and compassion, and the person of Jesus Christ, are central to everything that happens at Catholic schools in the Parramatta Diocese, including the learning. Our teachers share faith and learning with students through their own example.

With a strong foundation in faith, our schools cultivate moral values, ethics, and character development, instilling in students a sense of compassion, integrity, and social responsibility.

Alongside rigorous academic programs, Catholic schools offer a supportive and inclusive environment that promotes individual growth, encourages critical thinking, and fosters a deep understanding of social justice.

Ultimately, a Catholic education strives to shape well-rounded individuals who are academically accomplished, morally grounded, and equipped to navigate the complexities of life with purpose and resilience. The emphasis on community and service-learning opportunities allows students to develop empathy, leadership skills, and a commitment to positively impacting their communities.
